Wijdeven has mastered orthocyclic coil winding, and using this technique the company is better able than anyone else to produce windings with the greatest possible packing density. Seen in cross-section, an orthocyclic winding has the appearance of a honeycomb.

Orthocyclic windings have the following characteristics:
